Hello! Yesterday i try to upgrade from windows 7 to 10, i make settings like disable xbox gaming capture, removing apps like "microsoft store". The problem is when i start league of legends launcher and waiting to download and talking in discord the cpu usage is 100% and voice in discord start to lag, i paused windows updates for 7 days before that. When i use windows 7 i can make too much things like, talking on discord, playng league of legends, CS:GO without any issue and the cpu is not 100% usage and everything go smooth, can start google chrome and other apps. Now i'm use a not updated Windows 7 ultimate x64 bit, its not updated after 2011 year. Now i think to download a windows 7 with all updates to 11 january 2020. I know Windows 7 its not supported anymore but i'm gonna buy a new pc after this summer. I wan't to ask what edition of windows 7 use for gaming, is it good idea to try to install a ESU bypass from this forum. I reade for a windows 10 enterprise who don't have a microsoft apps, store and other usless stuff. I think about using 8.1 but i'm not sure its gonna be good for my pc. Pc spec GPU: nvidia geforce gt 240 1gb CPU: Intel athlon ii x3 435 3.10GHz(can be unlocked to amd phenom ii x4 b35) Ram: 4gb ddr3 kingston 1600Mhz SSD: 256GB ADATA SU800(for windows) HDD: 1tb seagate barracuda guardian 7200 rpm Sorry for bad english
Your dealing with older hardware for Windows 10. Upgrading your memory (double memory to 8 gb at a minimum) and getting an ssd drive may help with the lag while running Windows 10. You can try running Windows 10 LTSC and see if that helps. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-windows-10-enterprise-n-ltsc-2019.76325/ If that gets you no joy then you can go with Windows 7, install the Simplix Pack to update https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...egrate-hotfixes-into-win7-distribution.45005/ And then use ESU bypass to keep your Windows 7 up to the latest security updates https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-extended-security-updates-eligibility.80606/ So in short.... yes. Try Windows 10 LTSC with upgrading your pc until you get a new pc. You can still use the ssd drive in the new pc or stick with Windows 7 to see what works best for your game experience. Edit: you'll still get better performance with the hardware upgrade even if you decide to stay with Windows 7
If that gets you no joy then you can go with Windows 7, install the Simplix Pack to update https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...egrate-hotfixes-into-win7-distribution.45005/ So i need to download windows 7 where i want and after this to update with Simplix Pack ?
You can get a legitimate version of Windows 7 from here, and then use the Simplix Pack to update https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-7-installation-guide.23687/
Tnx for fast replay, but they have 2 link for windows 7 x64 bit and 32bit and other is for pro edition on x64, what is best to download ?
Your pc will be able to handle x64, use that. If you use x32 your be limited to less than 3.5 gb memory. Get the Windows 7 Pro edition x64.
Yes i know for x64 and i will gonna install this windows and after that gonna update. Thank you very much, i'm gonna write later after installing and updates. Thank you very much one more time.
Hey. Now i installed windows and i download simplix pack to update windows 7 and i now install a updates from 20.2.12. file is only 850mb and i'm think is too small for all windows updates, i see the older update is from 20.1.17. I want to know is this updates is all for windows 7 and don't need to worry. Btw i stop windows updates bc i update with simplix pack, is that right ?
It is best to ask these new questions about using Simplix Pack in the Simplix Pack Update forum now. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...egrate-hotfixes-into-win7-distribution.45005/ You might find your answers just reading through that forum
