What to download 10102 or 10074?

With 10074 you will receive patches/updates.

 

yep despite de numbers 10074 is newer than 10102 and has official support

 

Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.

 

build 10074 has almost no bugs less then windows 7 and 8.1 by far

It depends, do you want a buggy build (10074) or a buggy build (10102)?

Support & bug fixes would probably be better on the official build (10074), if you can call it support & bug fixes.

 

To use the 'official' Build is all times suggested, except someone likes to have more trouble because of lack of support!!

 

I have a laptop (Commenting from it now actually) that is literally a scratch pad. Everything on it, I can afford to lose - I could format in 10 minutes and lose nothing. Therefore I have One big Partition with 8 installed, and on 8, I have a VHD of each 10 OS, all loaded into the Bootloader. Latest 10 build is always default.

I have used both builds and by far 10102 has fewer bugs than 10074. Also 10074 is the "insider preview" whereas 10102 is the "Technical preview" I have seen a post where someone said that 10074 has few bugs compared to win 8 lol what a joke as 10074 is about the buggiest build I have tried yet and to compare it to windows 8 is foolhardy. The only bug so far that I have come across in 10102 is the new "Solitaire" app will crash. If it were me I would use 10102 if you find that you want a different build later on then change your server in settings to the "impressive" fast ring. Good luck.

 

if u say so, not found any bugs yet or maybe its ur system. People are too quick to say this build is buggy without checking own pc to see if thats why stuff dont work.

 

Well then prove me wrong! I can provide about a half million posts about how flawed and buggy 10074 is can you provide a rebuttal? You say your os is working fine but I call bulls**t on that one and now you have to prove me wrong or look like an idiot.

Too be fair You say "People are too quick to judge" I have been useing builds like this for a very long time and I even have helped to build "FrankenBuilds" So I am very familiar and comfortable with my machine and know it's limits. This build is a very buggy build and it is just not my machine lol. Good luck I am sure by the end of the day you will be reinstalling if you haven't done so already.
