Can someone explain which version of office works on windows 8.1 without phone activation method as for office 2013 Does office 2007 or office 2010 work on windows 8.1 with the tool MTK 2.49 Sorry if this as been as before if so please delete thread But please point me in the right direction first Thank You
That information was helpful but should the activation of windows 8.1 be backup first before installing office 2010 7 does MTK 2.49 do that
You should backup the activation of Windows 8.1 if you try to install office 2010 with SP2. Office 2010/SP2 will write over the SPP/store/2.0 directory to unactivated the windows 8.1. But you can copy the activation back after installing Office 2010/SP2, restart the pc and run the command slmgr -ipk xxxx and it will activate again.
you can Install office 2013 retail or VL and activate offline by phone just search google for a valid key to registre (try for exemple: office 2013 offline key updated) I've just activated my version of office 2013 with online key activation
I installed Word 2010 x64 only, and Windows was still activated, without me doing any backups and restoring. Maybe because it is not SP2.
So the best office that works with win8.1 without phone activation is Office 2010,so long as it not sp2 version as this mucks up win8.1 activation If you install & activate win8.1 then install Office 2010 without sp 2 everything works fine But what if you add sp 2 via windows update, do you have to re-activate your win 8.1 using the command prompt &slmgr -ipk xxxx &your genuine key & as TNGT It should activate again Is this true can someone confirm this also does it count down the genuine keys activation count
