Cause the key eventually got blacklisted! Never use some c**p preactivated copy, make one yourself from good known real hash iso sebus
Thanks for reply man, but with cd i made in november 2010 (while my hdd was still working and i had all the old files) is working fine on every pc with same serial... Let me ask this: If i download official Win xp with sp3 (i found torrent here with hashes) and i use RVM integrator and RVM post sp3 update packs, what must i do before i make bootable cd to make it not to ask for activation after install ? It must work on every pc. I do not care about further auto updates which i turn off on most of computer because of slow internet connection or no connection at all.
Thanks. I made iso using method 2 in your guide. All went perfectly fine by the book. I also edited VirtualBox xml and added this (just for testing). Code: <ExtraDataItem name="VBoxInternal/Devices/pcbios/0/Config/DmiBIOSVendor" value="Hewlett-Packard"/> <ExtraDataItem name="VBoxInternal/Devices/pcbios/0/Config/DmiBIOSVersion" value="A69"/> <ExtraDataItem name="VBoxInternal/Devices/pcbios/0/Config/DmiSystemVendor" value="Hewlett-Packard"/> <ExtraDataItem name="VBoxInternal/Devices/pcbios/0/Config/DmiSystemProduct" value="Pavilion Elite D5100T0"/> Instalation in virtualbox went fine with no errors whatsoever. But the activation window still show up . It was never genuine, and the only thing that was different is that it never asked for activation but in fact it was not activated ? PS: When i rebuild with method i described in first post but under windows xp it all works as it was before. Does not ask for activation but also it is not genuine. Nevertheless i like this method better .
