1)sorry, can't find a way to mount the active partition in DM (disk management)
2)Where I should see if there is any random 5 lettered file? in DM there are volumes with single letters; disks 0, 1, 2, CD-ROM 0.
3)*off topic* in DM, there is an right click context menu option 'Mark partition as active' in some partition volumes including Windows boot partition. Probably the one active is which don't have this option in the context menu, it's a drive with windows installed but it's not the primary, just old trash files, should be formated, also marked as Dinamic. The others as Basic. Question: Should I mark the boot partition as 'active'?
Which Partition is the boot partition. Actually I have two Disks both with one Partition with Windows installed on each.

You just need to assign a drive letter to mount it.

You need to enable the settings to show hidden files & folders as well as to show protected system files to see the file.

The 100 mb partition on disc 1 might be the best place to look, and it as no drive letter.

There's an easier way to do this without messing around with partitions. Just download Windows Loader to check if the systems got a SLIC (v2.1) and if it's activated via an OEM key. If it does then press uninstall and reboot. If you then relaunch the loader application and the details line still contains "v2.1" then the systems not using a loader and you can reapply the OEM key.

No partitions mounted, no settings need to be changed and you get your answer :)

Thanks your patience and all guidelines. Sorry my lack of expertise. I have mounted the active partition successfully...late. Actually there is a random 5 lettered file: LCEWP, type: system file. Is it what I should look for?

Do as Daz suggested. If that file disappears, you have your answer.
