What's best for Raspberry Pi these days?

    What do you plan doing with your rpi? I think the best use for it is a media center box with a distro like libreelec.

    p.s. Sorry I saw your thread ~20 days later. I do not visit mdl often, let alone the linux section.

    Yes, media centre for now, maybe later, if sons are interested, for coding - but who knows... ;)

    Just curious if somebody actually tested something that isn't included in NOOBS package and what are the advantages...

    None of these "HDMI cons" apply to me, as I have a highly capable Home Theatre receiver - all working at a very high quality level... ;)

    EDIT: Just noticed that the first link is a bit dated, too - 2015... Second is even older and others are also from 2015...
