What's the benefit of Windows 8.1 PRO over Windows 8.1 Single Language? I know Pro has the Group Policy Editor, but that never really works, example, if I enable the do not notify that there is a new app that can handle this extension, when I install a new up say MPC-HC and I start a video for the first time, I still get that annoying pop up tellling me there are other programs that can handle this extension. As for not being able to install other languages that isn't a big deal for me, so other than this, why would one install Pro over Single Language? I have a Single Language license that comes with my laptop (built into the BIOS) and a normal Win 8 pro key that I purchased before during the MS special upgrade offers Please tell me if I'm missing something since now the versions less than Pro support more than 16 GB RAM as opposed to Win 7 where you had to install Pro to get more than 16 GB RAM and join a domain network
That means for to run one language only while in pro you could used different Languages, like for me I've to communicate in 5 different languages. OK, even in single language you could read and write in an other language, that's true. But no spell check, Grammar, Thesaurus etc.! At the end it's just depend what you need to do with your machine and that applies for all installed apps!
im on pro now, how do I change the display language of everything to Russian? I searched around in the language settings but didn't find it
MDL addicted guy with 5 stars and 614 posts does not know how to change to another language? Shame on you buddy
where I excel is performance tweaking and security, each one knows something best. I may know stuff that you don't, and you may know stuff that I don't, that's how the world goes, and thanks for your rude comment
control panel / add a language? dunno.. My first language is English, and I am bad enough at that not to bother trashing someone elses
