What's the word on upgrading to v21H1 ?

I have "Download and Install" available. Any known issues with this version?

I have been running 21H1 since last Feb. 2021 ? with no problems.

 

There is no problems.
If you have currently installed version 20H2 and the updates are also installed, you don't need to update or install anything more - there is 21H1 already on your computer. Only new features need to be allowed and that's all, You're done. (This has been discussed several times here.) Use an enablement package and everything is done in 5 minutes.

 

Ok, I do have 20H2 installed with all updates - only the Download & Install 21H1 option is showing. Just wanted to ensure there weren't any known issues with it (i only got the option the other day)

So this DL & Install version only adds the Enablement Package? What does the EP do anyway?

1. to keep up the fake new build release cadency, making people believe they are real builds.
2. there is nothing different inside the LCU cabs (there is just one for all three "builds"), only the EP enables the new "features".
3. there is also no difference in the du for sources.

Yes brother you are right that only Enablement Package enables the new features.
But as i have seen on ms catalog theres a difference in file size of 20h1 & 21h1 du cab files.
