I'm running on a Windows 10 PC. Wherever I go to make input like my browsers URL or open up notepad and not touch anything there is no keystrokes being made but as soon as I lock up using Windows key + L it gets spammed and I am forced to restart the PC to log in from start up. The only devices I have plugged in externally on my PC are my keyboard, mouse, Web camera, headphones plugged into the audio port of the keyboard, and a micro USB I use to charge my phone but nothing is attached to it when I lock up. Any idea whats going on? Am I being hacked via some keylogging program running in the background?
What is spam, how does it appear or where? "WinKey + L" means "Log off" / "Fast User Switch", or more specifically %SystemRoot%\System32\shutdown.exe /f /l Are you logged off after pressing "WinKey + L" and you can not log in again without restarting PC? Or it means, You simply cannot enter Your password without restarting PC? The password value is not empty and You cannot empty it in any way? Or it doesn't response and You cannot write? Does it mean this or something else?
It sounds like you understood and answered the question but yes as soon as I hit Windows Key+L the password field immediately gets filled in to its max limit and deleting it only make it appear again quickly. I'm gonna look into all the suggestions in this topic and try to fix it this weekend if possible.
Do it, ie look into all the suggestions. But it seems to me that you should first clear history, auto-fill data and cookies. Verify that Windows files are OK (it means to run sfc.exe /scannow) and look for any kind of malware which may be run automatically with some other software.
