You might find it even easier to Google for the MD5 or SHA1 checksum. Hi, I found these links on another site, so I have downloaded them to verify them against skylark's post and the MD5 are correct, VL, Retail, OEM isos are all included. Enjoy.

got my thick head on can someone explain again whats the difference between: File: Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 (x86) OEM English.iso Size: 617 754 624 bytes MD5: 9BB3CB003E2C6005FCCC28C305BE05FF SHA1: DDA4AC450B2174CAC6C15295711330160C237418 CRC32: FFFFFFFF File: Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 (x86) Retail English.iso Size: 617 756 672 bytes MD5: F424A52153E6E5ED4C0D44235CF545D5 SHA1: 1C735B38931BF57FB14EBD9A9BA253CEB443D459 CRC32: FFFFFFFF File: Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 (x86) Volume English.iso Size: 617 754 624 bytes MD5: 5BF476E2FC445B8D06B3C2A6091FE3AA SHA1: 66AC289AE27724C5AE17139227CBE78C01EEFE40 CRC32: FFFFFFFF
You must be joking just search google, OEM not OEM SLP you can say go into computer shop buy gfx card and buy windows XP OEM. Once you register it on that machine that is it you can't use it on another, but with retail you can use it on one machine and say you wanted to sell the computer you format it. you can use retail on your new machine Not on both. Volume is commonly known as VLK or Corporate it means say company buys 5000 machines rather than having to activate every one online one serial number is used for all the machines and no activation needed.
urie what i ment was whats different in the ones I quoted in the file sizes ie Volume English.iso is 617 754 624 bytes so is OEM English.iso what files are different
You can't download Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 from microsoft without msdn or technet account, but you can download service pack 3 update two different things.
i use examdiff pro but there was one tiny free program thay could compair directories and list them just can't remeber the name
Your links, at least for the OEM Home and Pro versions, are correct and much appreciated. BUT for just one. Part 3 rar file results in an error, stating it's an illegal file a7bc2095, ( I assume some kind of error code)...then it goes on to Rapidshare and states that the file is not available, the link is invalid and a list of possible causes for this condition. Is there any way to get that one file reinstated for download? I'd greatly appreciate it, if it's at all possible. The other 5 parts came down without any real problems, as far I as I can see. Thanks very much, both for the files and any future help you can extend.
Man, you are really adventurous! Trying to get links from 2+ years old post (30 Mar 2010, 08:25 AM)...
