Just use AndyP's PhoenixTool v1.27 or higher on the original A13 BIOS. You might need to work on the original BIOS in a folder that doesn't contain spaces. Ex: C:\Temp

If you have installed the A12, the SLIC is updated. then you easly can update through the A13 from dell (slic tables will not be modified).

Has any one a copy for the Dell Precision M6300 (A12 SLIC2.1)? The link is down...

    Thanks

First, why are you replying to a thread that is from April 2010?

Second, the information that you're posting is wrong. Applying the stock A13 BIOS over the SLIC'ed A12 BIOS will result in the stock ACPI tables with SLIC v2.0.

    Here's the M6300 A13 with SLIC v2.1.

Hey tqhoang, Can you repost the M6300 A13 file again? The link is down.
    Thanks!

EDIT - Never mind. After scouring the forums I found a good link. I can't post a link so here's the location in mydigitallife: 7178-Dell-Phoenix-Manual-Mod-Thread/page350
