Flashed the bios and it from a dump it says SLIC 2.1 installed, but when trying to install the dell.cert it throws up some error about slui.exe.

Did you guys flash it using WINPLASH and modifying the .ini file or do it via a dos flasher? Also should the cert be installed before the product key is added?
Many thanks in advance for anyone who can offer any insight/help.

Update: Never mind, uninstalled the product key, installed the cert first and then added the key via slmgr and all ok and activated now. Thanks!

Ok guys this one works for me too... =)

    1) First u have to download the original bios update from dell (try using your service key..)
If you are running windows 7 32 bit you should download this file:
    FILENAME:Win1501263.EXE
    SHA-1: 58B654EFBD5CE285FD07AB2EEA1DA98D178B1A34

    2) run Win1501263.EXE normally (WITH NO ADMIN PRIVS). The update will unpack several files to the folder where is located and it will silently run the dell bios update, but it will stop automatically due of lack of privileges.

    3) Then replace the flashbl.rom file with modded one. Use exactly the same name, otherwise it may not work.

    4) Run Winphlash.exe with admin privs...

    5) Run the bios mod, wait for the reboot, and you're DONE!!

WARNING: If something goes wrong your computer motherboard will get screwed!!

Would like to give a whack at this one for my Dell 1501 Inspiron. Can it be re-uploaded again?

I've already flashed my Dell XPS m1330 with instructions from another post, ~AMAZING~ is all I can say!

    Much appreciation.

Dell M08 is for slic 2.0 something has gone wrong there with bios flash or maybe mod.
also there are no dell 2.1 certificates there is [ALWARE-ALIENWRE-MSFT]2.1.BIN = 45EA625E | 2.1 CERT

Thank you for reply Urie. I knew something was up with flash. I redownloaded Busykids508 file and tried again. Everything works perfect. I left cert and id number alone.Again thanks. :)
