Hi, i had starting problems in boot, and once, it started startup repairs automatically and asked for system restore from SR points.
    i did select yes.
But it went on for long 40 minutes and when i about to switch off , it rebooted and says , that windows recovered from serious error, but window gets booted normally afterwards.
my query is , where i can i locate the logs of startup repairs.
can i see what is wrong with the system not to boot properly.
i had to mention that i tried system restore, but system restore failed to restore to the selected day.
In this circumstances, it started auto repair.
can i know, if the boot was from SR points or
    throught the startup repairs.
No material available in this regard in internet
please answer in detail so that i could understand why my system went down

Hi, i know how to look at event viewer. Even Run command would do that. But which logs are to looked out. Even i had nirsoft eventviewer alternative . But i want to access the startup repair logs.
Your link just open the event viewer.
Even logs of error goes to pages .
which logs or source, would give what i want.

    Hi, palladia,
i know how to look at e.v
i want the source to look quickly.
startup repair would have been saved in ev log.
the same name would not be the source.
which source i should click to get the startup repair logs. that is the query. moreover, this is a kind of paid software
nirsoft has an alternate e.v for free, which lists all type of logs
