ok folks, complete noob here.wouldnt know much about the technical side of computers.iv a pc here thats lying idle and its actually decent enough.had a new hard drive put in ages ago.a trial of windows xp was installed on it.the trial is up and now i want to either know if there is a way to get past activating it in safe mode, as its the only way i can seem to get by the users menu or installing a downloaded version of windows 7.would really appreciate the help.cant afford to buying windows either cheers
