    Hello

I always buy a BIOS chip from ebay everytime I mod a BIOS in case something goes wrong. However, I can't seem to find where the chip is located on a HP APX78-BN motherboard. Any clues??

I've searched the forum for a modded BIOS but I was unable to find one.. that's why I'd rather have a backup chip in case something goes wrong.

One more question. Are motherboards like this one problematic? (Which method is preffered?)

There's a chip somewhere but where we cant know.. you need to read the manual..

A backup? Just download latest biosupdate from HP's website..

The purpose of the backup chip would be if the PC no longer booted after the update..
