    Hi all
I am interested in 2 basic functions.
#1 Restore OS in the event of software or hardware failure such as hard disk death.
#2 Migrate to a new system with different hardware.

Was considering Paragon drive copy 11 pro.
In your opinion would this meet my needs or should I consider something else?

Also would it a support Raid 0 configuration?

    Thanks

I have used Acronis in the past starting with version 6 but after 3 faild restores I'm a skeptical. Also ver 11 seems to have many bad user reviews and has been reported as buggy. My experience with paragon is limited to the free version and have yet to do a restore.
I have recently ordered up a 2 terabyte usb drive and plan to backup 4 pc's. After many hours of research I still undecided.
Its a pretty bad feeling to think your data is safe only to find you need to do a rienstall from scratch.

Having a proven back up system is key. I agree. I would also recommend looking at something like the windows storage server 2008 r2 essentials OS if you are currently running a windows OS. I am using it and have tested it's built in backup and it works well. It can backup multiple computers. Just search WSSE 2008 R2 essentials. It is a step up from WHS 2011

Acronis True Image Home 2010 is excellent. I found later versions to be be inferior to 2010 for various reasons.

I have been using acronis free for WD hard disks since 2010 on desktop (also acronis free for seagate on laptops since 9/2011). Have done around 1000 restores or more and acronis has never failed me.

Went with Paragon Backup and Recovery Home ver 11. Did a few backup's and swapped 2 drives. So far so good.
Version 11 now includes "WinPE 3.0 Recovery Environment", "Paragon Adaptive Restore 3.0 which helps you restore your system backup onto completely different hardware and Migrate existing systems and make them bootable in a new hardware environment.
Also supports 2TB+ external drives(I just bought one) and supports USB 3.0.

Thank You for every ones opinions.
