Hi, I would like to know which method is the best to activate permanent office 2010? MAK , KMS os Retail? If I can get a Mak or Retail key to activate, can it last forever or Microsoft can make it not genuine in the future?
Retail unlikely, as it is single activation, so you either have it or not MAK could potentially be deactivated KMS lasts for 180 days, so you only need to reregister in this time to get another 180 days sebus
MAK is the only way to have a permanently activated copy of a Microsoft product. Once a product has been activated via MAK, it does not become deactivated, although the key used can be disabled/blocked from further activations. If I am wrong sebus, please elaborate on "MAK could potentially be deactivated." I believe the only way a retail key becomes deactivated later is a) it is blacklisted, b) it's a Technet subscription key that has been deemed abused by MS's new piracy detection system (that is supposedly purchased from a credit card company). I believe that other Retail and OEM keys have to be seriously abused to become blacklisted, therefore deactivated.
Hey Tito, I am using Office professional Plus x64 and is permanently activated. (I have backup tokens ) Now, if i buy a new pc will i be able to copy this token to activate OR it will refuse coz of new hardware? In such case, how shall i again activate my license in the same way which i am using right now?
