Hey everyone, just built a new computer (specs at bottom) and now need windows 7. Im fortunate ebough to find this forum with great loaders... almost to many to choose from.

Im wondering, which loader should i use? ive heard great things about both daz and hazar.

also, do these loaders install windows updates well? do they lag your computer in any way?

specs are: asus mobo, 1.8ghz quad core amd cpu, 4gb ram, 500gb hdd.

    Thanks.

The Windows 7 Loader by Daz v1.7.7r should work well for you.
ASUS SLIC / Cert / Key combo in the loader (which will probably be automatically selected for you).
Personally, I would recommend a Bios Mod for that system but I'm definitely Biased.

If you dont know what a BIOS MOD is then I don't recommend that you go that route for activation as you can brick you mobo if not sure what you are doing. I recommend DAZ's loader as it works best in most cases.

A Bios mod is simply changing an original Bios from the manufacturer to add SLIC 2.1 information that is used to Activate Windows 7.
To activate Windows 7 you need SLIC 2.1, a Valid Certificate and a Valid Serial (Key).
A loader inserts the SLIC 2.1 info into memory to fool Windows 7 into thinking that info is really in the BIOS.
A Bios mod actually adds that info to the Bios so No loader is needed.
You just flash the new Bios and install a matching certificate and key in windows.

ASUS BIOS files are very easy to modify.
I peronally have done somewhere around 1000 and have Never had one Brick a MB.

Damn, kinda sounds tough. how long does it take and is it a hard procedure?

do loaders lag your comp at all or is it basically the same as a legit copy?

    thanks.

Mod is fast but must be done correctly! Then just use opa tool or daz loader in "advanced" to insert key and cert.
They might even already have a mod done for you in the bios mod thread.
If you mean lag as in slow down. No. When I used loader for about 4 months it worked perfect.

If you are not comfortable Flashing your Bios just use the Windows 7 Loader by Daz.
It should work well on your PC.
It will not cause any problems on your system and only takes a few seconds to load at boot up, after that it is virtually invisible to you.

Sorry for the triple post here (ill merge them after), but you said dont install that one update. Well how do i make sure that one update doesn install? because it appears windows will automatically update for me after i restart.

    thanks.
