Back in the days, I heard that Office 2010 is the last version which doesn't automatically saves your files on Windows servers, so I stayed with 2010 and never cared about any newer versions.

I wonder if anybody could help me with a little overview about all these versions?
    Anything you could recommend?

Is there maybe something like Slimdown10 existing for MS Office as well?
Reading through all the threads over here is quite hard for me, as so many features, software's, vocabulary, etc are mentioned which I have no idea about what they are. So I would appreciate any guidance.

No one here who could give a little advice?

    Don't want any online features.
I'm happy with 2010, but some Excel formulas used at work doesn't work when using at home under 2010.

Just use Office 2024 Home and Business then activate it using MAS (Officehook)

Then open any app such as Word, go to option, SAVE (from the left pane) and check the box which says "Save to computer by default"

Can you share a link for the MAS script? Personally, I prefer Office 365. Some MAS scripts convert to Mondo 2016
