Hello, sorry i know this is going to annoy some people because it seems like im too lazy to figure it out but ive been sitting here all day trying to get my pc to work, im tired and stressed and cant think straight.....and then i finally found this forum and decided to format and download winodws 7...ive been reading it for about an hour and understand everything but dont know which copy to get? (i dont mean ultimate/pro/home etc) there are so many download links all over the place...do i download the one from the win7 repository thread? I want the current safe stable version...currently im downloading x17-59465.iso which i found a link for in one of the threads...is this one ok? is there a better one?
ahhh i get it now, thanks, havent seen that page yet and it explains alot...so i guess the 59465 download is correct (Windows7 Ultimate x64 SP1 U (media refresh)) so now i just install like normal and after instal i load daz loader? and thats it? seems too easy
ok so installed and dazzed it, do i really do windows update now? lol sorry for asking again it just makes me nervous. is there anything i need to watch out for?
I was wondering if some1 could help me pick the right version for my laptop now, i have the origonal key on the back of it so im just trying to download windows for new hdd.... now im understand the SP1 U (media refresh) is the newest but will this work with my cd key? should i get an older version like Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1 (old) X17-58997.iso ??? Thanks for help btw EDIT: BTW sorry i cannot post links but the laptop is Acer 5560g
