I purchased a netbook (LG X120) which had Windows XP Home Greek ULCPC installed. I formatted everything (included the LG recovery partition).I have all the drivers though. Now i want to install Windows XP Home English. Can you suggest me which version to download in order to use the licensed key in the back of the netbook? Regards PS:Great forum, glad that i registered!
It is indeed CRC:8D3A3465. You say the key is intergrated in the cd;will i be able to download via windows update? What do you mean the key in the back of my netbook is OEM COA?In which cases i need it? Windows XP Pro run with same "speed" as the Home edition in a netbook? Sorry for asking these things, believe me i'm trying to read forum's posts for my case. Regards
Actually it come with xp home and it work nice with xp and its hardware design for XP. then why you want to update it. if you want to update then it has two option wifi or lan.
That's what i'm saying, since it had XP Home edition i want to stick in XP BUT english version. So, which cd should i download and from where (WinXP Home edition English)? Regards
The only one available for your machine is WINDOWS.XP.PRO.SP3.32-BIT.(X86).LG-8D3A3465.OEM so you either downoad that and use it or find WINDOWS.XP.HOME.SP3.32-BIT OEM or Retail and convert it to OEM SLP so you need to start reading the stickies.
