Hello, new here, I'm looking to get Win 10 running on my PC. General use, gaming, some work etc. Is it okay to just use the Enterprise version? I've just downloaded an x64 ISO from one of thread; Windows 10 enterprise 2016 LTSB (N) | ISO's/SVF | HTTP mirrors The US-EN x64 version. Will that be fine? Doing a fresh install, does it ask for any key during installation? Which activator is currently the best and works fine with the one above? Thanks.
Came across this thread, what is this "homebrew" version. Is it better to use this instead? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...703-rs2-creators-update-final-15063-pc.73650/
no it does not ask for a key during installation. you can activate with mtk / kmsvlall both work flawlessly. for gaming you would be better off with windows 10 pro i think.
homebrew would be an altered / edited windows iso. it is not the original untouched windows iso doled out by microsoft.
I already have the Enterprise .iso downloaded, would it possible to downgrade to Pro from that install afterwards?
not sure if you can go from enterprise to pro. since you already have the enterprise iso go ahead & try out all your games on windows 10 enterprise, if they work fine you need not bother about switching to pro.
Games work absolutely fine under LTSB 1607 as long as you have the proper runtimes and drivers. There's no difference between gaming on Pro and gaming on Ent LTSB. The only difference is you can't get Microsoft Edge on it, but I imagine people installing LTSB don't care about that(or store and cortana).
Same here gaming on LTSB and don't care about Edge Cortana and all the other crapy bloatware they put into Pro
