In theory, I am looking for an ISO link, to get aquainted with ten, and once a usable Win11 beta is available to have a look at that... (I am still on Win7!) Thank you-
Dont test most worst OS in this world ie win10 by lookwise you will love it but by f**k**g tel bloat & several ps scripts running in background whenever you connect your system to online world you will hate it most worst n will always be busy in your system testing testing n testing , improving , improving & improving. Win7 is a Ultimate OS till date i love to use it on daily basis & it never let me down in any scenario. Kind Regards, Sincerely
I totall agree, I do not want to leave my 7ulti, but in 2023 it might become unusable... So I want to see again what Win 10 is like, and see its details by using it in a virtual box only... My idea is, that it will help me understand Win11...
You can install any win 10 version in vbox, and "win 11" atm is just 10 with a new GUI, just looks different.
Sorry, my question may be not clear... I have tried 10 only when it came out and wnet back to 7 after three days or so, I would need a link to use which iso, and how to install (if help is necessary). It seems 11 will be able to run APKs...
Use Windows 10 Edu/Ent, optimize it with scripts from M$ for VDI and it runs pretty well in Virtualbox on my machine.
I use VMware or Virtualbox, Both are good, But the Virtualbox is 100% Free and VMware Pro is not free and They have VMware Player which is free and limited.. ATGPUD2003
Use windows 10 enterprise or education for vdi / activate with genuine key or massgravel or kms-vl-all Install 20h2 if you want longuer support * sorry for my english 21h1 are little support Source : windows 10 release informations
Use optimization script from M$, it will strip of the OS of useless UWP apps, change GP, registry settings. OS will be more lighter on resources although, Onedrive, edge, cortana is still present.
Thank You both very much... that is what I wanted to know. I will try on the weekend and then let you know what happened...
I could not disagree more. This opinion is really out there, and reminiscent of tin-foil-hat wearers. Just run it as it is.
It is subjective, if his machine can handle Win10 AS-IS in VM then so be it. M$ has optimization scripts, have a 72 min read-time article mentioning why to optimize, so I tested and it does work, reduces UWP to bare minimum also various registry entries, services, etc.
Surely you have heard that f.e. allowing a maximum of telemetry on your computer is something that quite a lot of people do not consider a good idea. And that the opinions of people who call others tinfoil-hatters are not really high on the list of priorities of people with an IQ above 80?
