Download the MSDN Ultimate iso, delete the ei.cf and you can install Pro too, use the key for activation (if it works at all).
Depends on where you are (legislation). In Germany, for example, you CAN transfer System Builder keys.
if present in BIOS or in a sticker, yes, and it will actívate automatically when you connect to internet.
John Sutherland: I'm one of many who will be sticking with Win7 for a long time. Win10 is just too much spyware and too wonky.(See latest update mess.) I used XP safely for 3 years after updates ended, and I can do it again. I moved to 7 only because my online work demanded it.
Did the vendor not provide a link for the download? Yes I had an old copy from a few years ago and it still registered windows 7 OEM just fine a few weeks ago when I reinstalled a laptop
I'm with you on that, but was forced to go to 10 for hardware support. So been working with ten for about a month now. What a mess to deal with.
i'm gonna keep Win7 on my family's Dell Inspiron 620 PC (originally had Win7 home premium but upgraded the edition to Win7 ultimate last year)
Almost another month under my belt with Win10, can't believe how much crapware they've added since seven. Yeah for sure I'd stay on Win7 if I could. When you do have to go to Win10, try LTSC. It's trimmed down to an extent and somewhat easier to deal with. Though still a lot of useless crap there. It's funny to me how they brag about all these "new features" and that's why you simply have to upgrade every six months (except LTSC). All they do is pile on more garbage. How much can we take. How much can Windows take. They're pretty much doing the best they can to steer people away from their products.
Do like Enthousiast said, but save a copy of the Win 7 Ultimate ISO. If the key does not work, then install Windows 7 ultimate and use the Daz Loader. Whichever version you use, I strongly recommend turning off Windows updates and using the Simplix pack. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...egrate-hotfixes-into-win7-distribution.45005/ If you have a problem, just let someone in the Windows loader thread know.
