AS it seems to be an problem used the 9901 I installed today the build 9888 on my Laptop. First time I was try, I couldn't install, so I was give it an new try today and that worked. Just the first problem were, I couldn't activate using any of the W10TP Product Keys. So, took the MKT 2.5.2, installed AutoKMS and try to activate: Nor woks, just runs more than 3 hour. So I finally got it activated using the EZActivator bottom and that worked. SLMGR /DLV shows as Partial Product Key: 9D6T9 which means that the gvlk key were used, activate till April 16. 2015. That seems to mean that the build 9888 is just an leaked build? OK, that's fine for me. Now I'm not sure I could update to the latest build when it appears maybe next week?! Anyway it's just an 'play around' with Windows 10 TP at all! Simply I'll not use the TP or even later Beta for productive use. It's just for to test that it will works with the apps my customer and my own company is using. Although important is that Windows To Go will works correctly. For the later I'll use WinToUSB for to create those Workspace Drives because of the time I would save for no need to install avary needed apps several times, once on each W2Go drive! The already installed 9901 on an W2Go drive I tested on more than 20 different computers and it works on all very well. Not any problem with activation, in fact, I was nor need to do any single activation on those USB Drives, I used 3 for the time being. The activation were taken over from the Master Machine (my Laptop(!) which runs now with 9888! OK, on the 9888 build, I couldn't also not use my HP WiFi Mobile Mouse. The driver will not work with W10TP at all. Works fine with any Windows 8/8.1! Next what isn't work is the Update for X-Plane 10 and I get also problems with Condor Soaring Simulator. Let waiting a few day and see what happen with the new build. Will have re-install anything again!
I installed 9901 on a VM to play with it until then, then fresh install. I'm playing with this VM to see if it can deal with viruses to avoid headaches you should do again a fresh install when the new build comes out there were many problems with upgrades people reported here
As I wrote already, I had 9901 running on that Laptop upfront and done a clean install of 9888 today! Mainly I use to, if I'v already an build running, firstly upgrade to see what the problems may come up, after that I'll re-install now using an clean install after I'd low level formatted the HDD! That I use those way is easy to explain: I doing services for LAN system Hard- and Software and also, for sure, for friends but very less private customers. For to know what may can come up, I use both's way, while finally use the clean install for my own 'play'! And just to mention, I didn't like VMWare because you didn't play with the real environment, just an virtual one, which will not work as the real one! But I still use an old version of VM Ware which some totally outdated OS'es like Geoworks Ensemble! Even DOS 3.1 for to still have the ability to use old Data which were written in 8bit!! Not to mention that I still service an old Novell Netware Network system with Novell 3.11 for one customer in an neighbor country with more than 800 Workstations! So, those old systems are still in use and even still useful (for my company and I)! That's systems and software older than 25-35 years!
I agree with you regarding real or virtual mode, I installed windows 10 in real mode and i'm going to in the new release, but 9901 was too buggy for everyday use, I'm using a VM to safely play infecting it

I downloaded the 9926 now and will install on Laptop. First to mention, as several times with other MS ISO's, Rufus (latest version) could not create an useful USB Stick bootable. I get the error again that the Bootmgr is damaged. Used the MS Windows7toUSB tool all works well. I'm installing now.
