Hi Gents, 3 weeks ago, I started to have a White Screen of Death. It is a intermittent problem, after I using my computer for a few hours, sometimes a little bit shorter. My Screen turned white and frozen, Sometimes I still able to hear audio in the background, I did not upgrade any hardware or installed any software before this Happened. After this incident, I updated BIOS, reset BIOS, updated anything I could in Device manager but the Problem won't go away.I ran Reliability report, it said something about Parameter Service.I am very sure some good Programmers are members of this site, I would like members of this site to help me on this problem.Thank you very much.
i only ask here becorse i have a new pc for 2 weeks but no intel but an amd ryzen 3 did it only happen when you use chrome ??? and does it reboot itself after it ?
I did reinstalled Home version before I tried Enterprise version, I tried all version of browser, WSOD happened and It didn't reboot itself. White screen and Freeze, I tried many combination of things. It is better than before but the Problem still there, I have a degree in Electronic Technology and I have been studying IT and Computer Science for 7 years. This is very likely a Software problem and it is a difficult one, I came to this site last because I know there are good programmer on this site.Never have problem with HP or Toshiba,Acer and Asus not that good. for you it is easy, just return the Computer, get HP,,,,,,
If your audio is still working maybe windows has not crashed after all. You have check to be sure it is not caused from a monitor going bad?
Most of the time, my computer would crashed .Even I heard audio in the background, the computer froze. My computer usually work fine for a day and start crashing so it is very likely not the Screen.
I started Windows in the safe mode but the Audio wasn't working > '' No audio output device is installed '' , I ran troubleshoot > " Realtek hd audio driver has a problem " . I played Video, Video was working fine.Any suggestion? Thanks.
Have you tried a different graphics card, and if that's not possible have you tried using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver?
