I don't think there is much correlation between reliability and gender, though in my experience, girls tend to be more reliable, but if you get an unreliable person, you are officially SCREWED. With males, there is occasional unreliability with everyone, and only occasionally do you encounter total idiots.
Both are human and are not to be trusted. That being said it depends on what or to who that loyalty is.
