I was wondering if someone might be able to post up a link for the delta file to turn WHS2011 into Windows Storage Essentials 2008 R2. The link I found no longer works (unable to provide link as I don't have enough posts but was back in 2011). I'd also be after a delta to convert the WHS2011 recovery CD to Windows Storage Server Essentials 2008 R2 as well. Reason being I'd like a WHS type setup that can connect to my domain. Ease of client backups and a nice dashboard sounds good. Otherwise, is there anything else similar? I'd like to try and avoid any server 2012 stuff with the metro interface. Cheers.
Thanks for that. I'm now half way there at least. Even if someone has the full ISO they can upload somewhere that would be great. Otherwise, are the any other server iterations that are similar in that you can integrate easily into an existing domain without it wanting to become the primary domain controller? From what I've read, Server 2012 Essentials wants to do this. While maintaining the dashboard of course
