Why does my SLIC status show "Invalidated" ?

    I flashed the BIOS of my Dell 700m to SLIC 2.1, installed Dell certficate, and Dell OEM key but Windows 7 still shows as not activated.

    So I ran the SLIC Took Kit and it shows SLIC Status as Invalidated so that's probably why my Windows 7 installation is not activated. So what could be causing this?

    You probably just got a bad bios mod dude? What type of bios do you use? I will be more then happy to help make you a new one if you want. I know NoJuan makes good bios mods as well.

    It uses the Phoenix Bios

    I have some good news now. I searched again and found another version of the BIOS that has be flashed using DOS. It worked and now Windows shows activated. So you were right when you originally said it was a bad BIOS mod.
