Why is my Windows 8 en-uk?

    I was one of the early Windows 8 buyer. I bought it moments after it got released online.

    Whenever I download, I am getting Windows 8 en uk using my serials.

    Is this serial related?

    I used a VPN still I am not getting Windows 8 en-us?

    AFAIK, it depends on your current geographical location.

    I have a Retail disk and also it thinks it's en UK for some reason... at first it kept opening pages for the UK... mind you after re-install it gave me the right pages for my location...

    What do you mean by reinstall? You formatted your PC again?

    Yes, I have seen the same.

    Were you able to change the language in the beginning when you installed Windows 8

    Or was it all UK.
