Why is product ID different by one number?

    Maybe a different language version of Vista??

    No it's in english. Maybe because it's 64bit?
    Anyone else using a ASUS SLIC and Vista 64bit?

    Yup 64bit vista and asus slic. was a dell oem vista copy that got converted over to a asus oem copy.

    No my version of Vista 64 SP1 wasn't a Dell OEM. It's the official 64bit SP1 one from MSDN.

    It think if you install 32bit the ID is 89580-OEM-7332132-00031.
    If you intall 64bit it changes to 89587-OEM-7332132-00031.

    What do you think?
