WeirdMaybe my 2 gigs of ram I need to upgrade?
Hi smto, welcome to MDL.
Regarding your question;
You should scan your computer with your AV, may be due to malware in the system, the system slows down.
If you have 2GB of RAM of course you need to increase it. You must.
4GB for 32bit architecture.
6GB + for 64 bit.
I have a HP mini with 2GB of RAM + Atom proc and a W7 Pro 32 bit system running smoothly . But by experience I know W7 systems are slowing down after a few months of use, so of course you have to clean it regularly, check for fragmentation and so on to optimise it. Look also in task manager to verify the usage of RAM, HDD...and don't hesitate to stop some unneeded services.
I think it's because your first post was a tech question in the introduction section.
Anyhoo...welcome to MDL.
Oops yes I didn't notice that
