    Hi
Why there is no image/clone file of original DVD of Windows 8 OEM/System Builder version available on net to download freely like MSDN one ?

Not even the OEM DVD of Lenovo, Dell, HP etc

    Only available is MSDN/RTM version.

Why no one is uploading it, is there any security on DVD?

Can anybody upload in Eng_us version?

    Thanks

Won´t work in case SingleCoreLanguage or CoreCountrySpecific is needed.

Hey guys don't be so angry................
sorry for any fault esp from vymrdal ..........
i just want to know, more than million copies of Win 8 has been sold but not a single user has uploaded the DVD clone, is some kind of MS has applied security to prohibit user from uploading their own DVD clone.
In today's media world clone are available to user before the original manufacturer launched it.

    Thanks

I think Microsoft only offers Windows 8 in ISO image format (upgrade version). At least, that's what they sell at the Microsoft Store.
OEM computers have recovery partitions. There's no need for an installation DVD.

As posted before, on OEM machines can be installed three different versions of Win 8. For normal Core or Pro installs, the MSDN ISO can be used, as it includes Core and Pro. In case of CoreSingleLanguage- or CoreCountrySpecific-Version it´s a bit difficult. I linked a Thread about this topic.

Nevertheless a fresh install is a nice option to have. No useless bloatware and other stuff installed.

Well, since I have a System Builder license, I got a DVD. Just checked, the label is

    HRM_CCSA_X64FRE_DE-DE_DV5

so there should be absolutely no difference to the retail image. Because of this fact, no generic OEM ISO exists. Royalty OEMs do not seem to deliver DVDs anymore.

That's the System Builder package I posted of above. Yes, the key inside is OEM_COA_NSLP channel, but for personal use that's essentially the retail Edition now. The DVD inside seems to contain the default retail Core/Pro set. Nothing special regarding to OEM. It's a valid base for WMC, too.

Looks like royalty OEMs can decide if they want to provide DVDs, and most don't (or only for extra $$$).

Thailand has no copyright laws, unless it purchased directly from MS, I would have some doubts about its authenticity.

Don't was in need to buy one of those packages yet, so I don't know what's really inside. Till now I could still buy the Windows 8 Pro Upgrade Package with both DVD's (32/64bit) inside for just THB 1,920.00 (US$ 60.00)

Maybe you're a little bit wrong Sir! We have a copyright Law in Thailand and it's forced to use as well. Special companies like MS, Adobe, Autodesk and so, are using the BSA for implement those law directly.

I wouldn't deny that you could buy nearly any Apps as "Copy" in Thailand, that "business" is still up and running well. But nobody would use to copy the packaging and labels too, like the Chinese done!

On the other hand, you could not purchase from MS directly in Thailand in way of retail. If you try that, MS Thailand will force you to contact MS Redmond or send you to some certified MS Dealer, which we have a lot in Thailand.
