Not that I don't like Server 2003, but it doesn't exactly belong in the Server 2008 forum. There are separate forums for Windows XP and Vista, Server should be the same.
although i've got quite a bit of experience with 2K3 and XP x64, i agree, there is a forum dedicated to XP, therefore it would make sense for a dedicated forum for the same generation server OS, unfortunately, i have no authority, so i'm in the same boat as you guys. I guess for now, if enough 2003 threads spark up within the '08 forum, there is bound to be a little "housekleening" and motion towards a dedicated forum( hopefully). Oddball_Racing
I was just going surgest dropping the '2008' I don't think theres enough server users (even including the Sever as Client guys) on the forum for seperate forums.
I renamed it now. I see your point, ZaForD. We're a more or less specialised technical forum, more a closed community than a big forum for everybody to ask computer related everyday-life-questions (of course, every one is invited to ask whatever one wants)... anyways, we are what we are. There are no problems, so why bother?
We already have to nearly inactive subforums.... I respect your point of view, but if I open up a new subforum for every kind of bla a few users are coming up with (no offense!), we would end with the longest forum index on the internet As long as there isn't the really massive need of opening up some more subforums, I won't do it.
