why the lock? :(

    I haven't seen this happen on my win 7 before. Any idea why the lock appears on the programs?:mad::(

    can the files open?
    try to explore properties, especially security and sharing flags.

    yes the files open with UAC prompt

    This symbol appears when the "root folder" is shared. If this was a mistake, just disable the share option...

    LOL I tried to make an example in my (US) Windows 7 VM but there is a picture in the post from Anakunda.
    There you have the share option, so he was right too, and faster... :)

    well i guess i messed with explorer while installing some themes :/ anyway thanks problem solved :)
