Wich versions of Windows 7 will come on Technet?

    Tomorrow is the day that Windows 7 RTM will finally appear on Technet, but does anybody knows wich versions will be on Technet first? Only Professional or Ultimate too?

    Wich versions did they put up first than? I was no subscriber at that moment...

    i think you will see professional + ultimate + enterprise rtm not vlk.

    same did they with vista but now you have access to all vista. so maby they give you all windows 7 later :)

    I hope they don't update the OS to 16399 ... I will die downloading 3GB again :p

    God i hope there isnt a new build. Over here in Australia you cant get Unlimited broadband , you get a set amount each month and get charged stupid prices if you go over the limit. If there is a new build after i finished using my last 2.6gb to download windows 7 RTM il stay with it as i probably couldnt face wiaitng another month to start again lol :p

    There won't be. Once a product goes RTM, it's cast in concrete and won't change.

    Yeah but that build that we presume is the 'RTM' build, still isn't sure until MS confirms it.
    NOBODY at Microsoft has confirmed the build number, only rumours.

    Does MS change the location of downloads on MSDN and TechNet? The list with all the iso and the hashes.
    The bookmarked page doesn't work and I cannot find how to find it again...

    I doubt those are going to be the final hashes, as that's only Ultimate. I'm sure it will be like the Vista that's on Technet, where it gives you the option to select during install

    As with Vista, W7 will have "one media to rule them all". XP had different media for Home/Pro as well as different media for OEM/Retail/VLK, but that was never the case with Vista. Only the "Enterprise"-version will have its own media.

    You'll might see different labels/filenames, but which version gets installed depends on the key, not the media.

    Edit: This seems to be wrong, at least after installing from the RTM-build from TechNet. The media does containt CLG-files pertaining to the other versions, though...

    Please... Do explain why they wouldn't have made an updated version of the RTM to be released to the public that includes the update patches that they've released in the past few days...

    You know.. 'cuz it's so hard to make a patcher to update the image that the Vendors are using to pre-install Windows 7 and bandwith is SO expensive for an international company.
