I decided to be on Win10 ltsc coz less bloatware. I wanted win8.1 coz I couldn't install win7 coz I have GOP. and UEFI c,ore i7.. so I settled on win10 ltsc, but I am thankful for you trying to help out

try Win10 or Win11. see if better.

I have a Lenovo yoga. only 4GB RAM. came with OS Win8.1. Win7 is no go (Lenovo blocks Win7 install).

Hence I did test. it's found that Win 11 is a little bit better than Win 10. Both Win 11/10 much better than WIn8.1. My decision was to go Win 11. No any issues of drivers, touchpad, , , I can say old Lenovo runs better on Win11/10 than on Win 8.1/7.

Your Asus is different. but no hurt to try. maybe a surprise to you.
