After looking more closely at the location services buttons shown in Windows 11 Educ enterprise, I realized Ms only shows buttons for Apps related to the store and one button for desktop apps. Since my LTSC 24H2 doesn't have store installed, there aren't any app buttons shown. I guess I should have known that and surprised no one mentioned it. Third party apps such as Wifi info View from Nirsoft and Homedale from SZ will still not work if Location Services is turned off starting with builds .26100 on-wards, which is a complete turn-around of previous Windows 11 Builds. I don't know if there's a registry fix to circumvent this problem to still allow certain non-store apps not to be blocked when location services is set off.
