Will Economic Depression eventually cause to people trust less in the Capitalism ?

the era before we "adopt" religion to trust each other's motive and it was sustainable
didn't helps us evolve much in technology and such

Capitalism helped a lot in this area but we are in the point
everyone's trying to consume each other with hiking the prices for basics stuff

we need to find another way to evolve and be fair to each other
    mb like china ?

Perhaps you should look up the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre "June 4th incident" before implying China is the right thing to emulate.

No . As can be seen now and in the precedeing generations . The slaves have been bread thick for thousands of years and have learnt to acrept their slavery and celebrate it .

Does anyone trust capitalism ? Who ? Why ? And in what way ?

Just a nice way of saying "redistribution of wealth", whereas those that are lazy can mooch of those that actually work to make their way in the world.

For those that work and earn their way in this world , Capitalism works , those that are lazy and would rather mooch off the system hate it.

Life is not fair, Get a job, contribute to society, earn your own way.

You just presented the situation from a stererotype capitalist propoganda view point from 50 - 100 years ago .

The lie of the american dream = anyone can work and get rich ...... I'm rich because i worked hard and your poor because your lazy . If thats true why are the majority of working people not rich ? Why are the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer ? Why less and less people with more and more money ?

Its not about a free party paid for by the rich ....... and its not about takeing the cash back that they cheated us out of with their control of the whole system ...... to their benefit . Its about giving people a fair wage that they can live from decently . About equal acess to laws , courts , legal protection and medical care .

What sort of paranoid moron believes that anyone wants to go to working class people and take their posesions away !?!? Its about stoping people controling the system to their advantage at the cost of the rest . About stopping people useing money as weapon .

It is simple economics, First , the rich are a needed class, without them no one works or gets paid therefore nothing is produced.

Second , you can raise salaries to decent levels all you want but with that the price of goods and services rise with it because it now costs more to produce those goods and pay people who provide those services, raising minimum wage to $30 an hour does no good if everything rises in price with it , all you accomplish by doing that is making $30 an hour the new poverty level.
As long as we have a monetary system there will always be an upper class that that controls it and a lower class that works for it, it has always been that way and I suspect will always be that way. The rich will always control the system to their advantage , it's how they stay rich. Stopping people from using money as a weapon? is nothing but a pipe dream.

Having equal access to laws , courts and legal protection is simple, abide by the law(s) of the land, if you have enough money to defend the crime you committed you will never do a day in jail, if you don't , then don't do the crime, simple as that.

To this day , there has been no fair system, there are the rich which control everything and the poor who struggle, it is like that in every single society on earth doesn't matter if it is a Democracy, Autocracy, Communist or Socialist society, getting rid of the monetary system will never happen , the upper echelon of society will never have it and the poor do not have the will or the resources to change it. And even if it could be changed , what would you do to change it to make it fair for everyone? Nothing anyone has ever come up with has ever worked.

Like I said, Life is not fair, it has been this way from the beginning of time and will be so at the end of time.

FYI , The American dream is not a lie, I have been at both ends of it , dirt poor and rich so yes , there is truth in it. When you always expect a handout and rely on your government or others to support you, you will remain poor, however , work for a living and being responsible for your own actions and finances, you will grow exponentially and suddenly redistribution of wealth will not seem to matter all that much.

Yes . Its not about an abrupt ban and end of greed . Its not about takeing anything from anyone . Its about a system evolving and a adapting to its needs .

No. Maybe entrepreneurs are a needed class. It's the equation entrepreneurs = rich which is a flawed equation.

To say it better is not said that people like Elon Musk must earn 1000x of the salary of the last toilet cleaner working for tesla.

Adriano Olivetti (who run the company that invented the personal computer in 1963), used to say that the delta between the money earned by the first and the last "bit" of a company should be not more than 10x. (and was labeled as being a communist, because this and other innovative things he did to try to make his company fair)

And that's not the worst part of the distorted idea of capitalism which is trendy today.

At least Musk has a vision, risked a lot in his carrier, and is trying to give something back, but what about CEOs, who often earn outrages amount of money, w/o risking anything, w/o investing any money ?

What about all financial games, which contributes nothing to the society? That's not capitalism, that's jungle, that's middle age.

That's wold be true if initial salary where distributed in a fair way from the start. That's BS in the real scenario. Where someone earns a billion per year and others earns a laughable fraction of that. Elon could earn 1/10 of what earns today, still being rich and still having resources to invest, and his employers could earn 1.5x, w/o turning the USA in the North Korea, making the USA a better place for a lot of people, w/o touching the price of any car for sale.

Perhaps those cars would be more affordable for more people, leading to more sales, more income, more need for workers...

No, is not. But that observation shouldn't be the excuse to not try to improve it.

Otherwise why not extend the concept to everything? Why take care of sick people? They are too weak to survive, let them die, and not waste resources in healthcare, hospitals and so on...

After all that's how it works in nature.

But we should hope we are a bit more evolved than a Gorilla

That would turn in a lengthy discussion, but we can't hide the fact that the American dream is built on top of a rape of a virgin territory, one genocide, decades of slavery, and many wars.

Not exactly something that should ignite any pride.

The great depresion was caused by uncontroled capitalism .......... a lot of people lost everything that they'd earned in their lives ............ because of greedy people speculating ............ and government not controling it . Working class people bought their wages home in a wheelbarrow ........... wich lost its value on the way home . Capitalists had so much of our money that it didnt matter . They could still aford to live a life of luxury .

The 2008 bank crash was caused by uncontroled capitalism . WE lost our cash and our homes .......... and then afterwards we had to bail the financial institutions out = WE got ripped off and had to pay twice . The speculants and managers that caused it didnt have to pay , and got bonuses .

    @ semitism

GOD was a socialist . He made the earth , the animals , the plants and he saw it was good , and it was good . We lived in the garden of eden ........ in paradise ....... where everything we needed was there for us all and it was free .

GOD was anti capitalist . Eve commited the original sin = capitalism . She stole our apple ........ wich she didnt need because everything was free ......... she decided that she owned it ......... wich ment that it wasnt there for any of the rest of us to eat . So GOD threw adam and eve out of paradise .

Then cain ....... a capitalist who claimed that he owned our land = He stoped us useing it for his own profit ........ on our backs at our cost ........ and then because GOD didnt like that ........ and GOD favoured a socialist Able cain killed able . And GOD punished cain and threw him out .

Then jesus came and said that there is as much chance of a rich person going to heaven as there is that a camel can go through the eye of a needle .

Wich can be seen repeated in the 7 deadly sins ...... pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth ....... 5 of wich are the hall marks of capitalism .

    Not sure about GOD.

But Jesus for sure was not a Socialist. He was a Communist indeed.

The difference is subtle but Important enough.

And please before you start with the standard stupidities about USSR, or Cambodia, I'm talking about the real ideology, not about some flawed implementations.
