Will SP1 update work if vlite has been used

    I tried installing SP1 using KB936330 and it failed 80070002, because i used vlite and hence parts are missing, so i understand. I then tried the registry hack assumimg that update would be smart enough to only install what was necessary. Also failed, same code.
    My question is, in March, when the SP1 update will be officially avaiable via update, will the same happen?

    my understanding is, a COMPLETE vista has to be installed to update with SP1 :eek:
    yeah, sucks
    Install complete Vista, Update with SP1, reseal and generalize, then vlite it

    MS has said that SP1 will only install on a non-vlited Vista install.
