I'm looking at the thread regarding the Dell E1505 bios mod, titled "DELL Inspiron 6400/E1505 -Bios help-". I'm unable to post a link to it since I'm newly registered here.

I haven't run the mod yet. The system is a Dell E1505 and the BIOS version is A17, which matches the SLIC Tools readout screenshots posted in that thread. However, what's different is my SLIC Dump line reads "DELLM07_V2.0" instead of DELLM09 as in the screenshots there. Also the RSDT/PubKey/Marker fields read DELL M07 rather than 09. Does that mean I can't use this mod, or do those fields not matter? Will they be updated to 09 when I flash with the mod?

Sorry if this is a noob question or if I'm violating any forum etiquette here. I'm new to the forum and to BIOS modding in general. Thanks in advance for any info.

Those fields should get updated when you flash the Modified Bios.
