OK so now we have three 10240 RTM Threads....Will the real RTM please stand up! OMFG I didn't mean to make a new thread, I wanted to post in Faikee's thread since that is the one I'm using...Mod if need to then Delete!
People will continue arguing endlessly whether or not each version is the same or different... Everybody seems to have different opinions Pick whichever... There all the same
The only real way to tell which is "real" is to wait until the 29th to see which update is given to 10240 insiders/what is released. Just my 2 cents
1. ESD through WU 2. 64bit OEM 3 32bit OEM ALL build 10240 OEM's are getting Zero Day Patches for their images. They will be on WU on the 29th. Easy...
Yep, all the same. 1. ESD version leaked first - from Microsoft direct (and yes it can be upgraded or loaded as a "normal" consumer windows 10 2. IMG version was next leak - said to be original OEM version 3. ISO leak - general OEM leak All of them are RTM as most would know it. ALL OF THEM THE SAME BUILD. Take your pick - pick one that makes you feel warm and fuzzy
I think "the real one will stand up" on or after the 29th. If you dont trust any of the ones leaked and already posted then wait until its debut
Since MS stated they will roll-out the upgrade in waves to have more control, i highly doubt the appearance of any official ISO too soon after GA .
Agree With the rollout over a period of time, no doubt new hidden problems also will surface, then patches will have to be tested and refined, only leads to one logical conclusion. The current build will remain as the "bog standard", with no new ISO's or the like anytime soon, well after July
