  2. I have no idea how much "igetintopc" f**ked up the Windows installation, but I advise you to use an official installation image by Microsoft (can be downloaded here). If the activation still doesn't work with such, please come back here.

Then i would do what @luzea suggests or first use the original media for an inplace/repair upgrade, to see if it fixes the issue.

Do I need to perform a clean install of Win 10 with the official image,or I can upgrade somehow?

The whole point of the "use an official image" advice was to perform a clean install with it to ensure no bulls**t remains on your PC from that sketchy website. For activation purposes - KMS_VL_ALL or winactivate.
    Best options are:
    1. Using an official image from microsoft(unless we're talking about windows 7 - never use their official images from 2018, use the media refresh ones from 2011).
    2. Learn how to modify said official images yourself - that way you at least know what's been done to the system and what to expect from it.

Could you provide me a working link of Win 10 Pro 64 bit ISO , please?

Because the ISO links provided on the site you gave me a link from don't work.

The ESDs work, the SVF repo works, uup and techbench dump work.

The whole point of using an official image is to have an official untouched mage.

Then if you use it to do an in place upgrade it's still a an official image, no need to suggest people to waste their time with a scratch installation.

Perhaps In OP's case, possibly, an sfc /scannow would be more than enough to fix any file replaced by a lame activator

There is a big need for a clean install when people previously used a "pre-activated", by who knows what crappy method, ISO.

An inplace/repair upgrade won't always get rid of the cause of the experienced problems.

No is not. Formatting is loser's way to get rid of a problem. Understanding and fixing it should be always the gold standard

In place creates a whole new System then imports users files, we aren't talking of Win98 or XP

Sure there could be an unwanted service dragged but it will be very easy to spot, and very likely it will do nothing w/o some modified system files which aren't there anymore.

If he knew what he was doing he wouldn't have:

    1. not used a s**tty pre-activated iso of unknown/questionable sources
    2. started this thread
    3. he would already fixed it

How many times i have seen people going for pages and pages of "help" and then still nothing is actually fixed or some stuff from the old install still caused problems.

That's why in place upgrade is the most newbie friendly option.

A couple of mouse clicks then wait 20 minutes Then 99% of the problems are gone for 99% of users.

For the remaining 1% forums are there to help.

Sure but by that logic, a format/clean is helpful only for people trying to help (less time spent). What a newbie is supposed to learn by a wipe procedure?

I grew (also) thanks to my mistakes and I'm sure its true for you as well

And it still can leave some unwanted crappy modifications in place.

I advised to first perform an inplace/repair upgrade too, to see if it fixes the activation issue but when people use unknown isos, the advise to re-install with a proper ISO is best.

Possible but very very unlikely, after all lame activators are, usually, just that... lame activators.

If, by chance, you downloaded a really heavily modified ISO assembled by "Klingons" to infect the NORAD, stay sure it's not going to loose the activation on first sneeze like happened to the OP

  16. You're free to mess with Windows Product activation yourself.

For a forum that promote usage of official iso,i think it's fair enough to suggest clean installation instead of fixing those errors caused by someone else's homebrew.A good start i may say.
