Afaik there is no such Upgrade for LTSB, don't confuse with other Win 10 versions. There will be a successor, but no clue when.

LTSB is supposed to be a version with absolutely no feature updates or any upgrades in it's lifespan. This also means no support for hardware newer then the LTSB release (i.e. new CPUs).

This version was never ment to go as public as it did :cool2:.

@Enthousiast thanks for the heads up dude, but for a while is better stay with Windows 8.1 until 2023 maybe something can happen in M$ who know another CEO or same someone that LIKE Windows O.S as desktop or still better one version pure desktop! and another versions with a lot of UWP for lovers of smartphones etc ;):D

I'm also running 8.1 as the DX12 isn't that mature enough and I'm not running the new platform for now.
Seems like It's inevitable the Win10 has laid all the ground work for M$ to corner the user and force them to update to the every 6mo release, With Gates gone I don't think they are going to change the path they took.
I'll stick with LTSB only when I need Win10, No way I'm running other flavors

Installed LTSB 2016 in VM yesterday, I'd forgotten how nice it was to have a normal (almost normal) version of Windows without any app crap or tips and tricks / ads settings

Very temped to install it as main again, this creators update just appears to be more of the rubbish I hate about 10

Why advise to use a 90 day EVAL edition (not able to activate via kms) when the real deal is released?
