When this happens trying to find the reason can be a nightmare from afar.

    1. Check Hash of your M$ ISO. If you cant, then download a fresh version from the links
    2. Then apply "The Fix"--- choose option 2
    3. If all else fails, try a clean install

    thank you...
fix works fine on a clean install (used option 2)

    here is what i did
disconnected the internet access (lan and wifi)
booted from usb and started the installation
i didn't use the Diskpart option because i didn't want to clean the entire disk, so i started the installation normally
formatted the partition C and installed the version Pro (i have digital license for it)
setup went on fine without issue
when it finished and it started configuring, it asked for wifi, i connected the internet, it seemed to have downloaded something (not sure)
couple of restarts and it finished fine and activated fine
    details are

    Edition Windows 11 Pro
    Version 21H2
    Installed on ‎10/‎5/‎2021
    OS build 22000.194
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.194.0

    my old PC details
    Device name
    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz 3.30 GHz
    Installed RAM 8.00 GB

I'm trying to in-place upgrade an i3-5005U Laptop with no TPM 2.0 support. I downloaded 22000.194 build and used the latest 2.0 fix to create the ISO and finally extracted that ISO to a local drive and ran setup.exe but it resulted in this...
    upload_2021-10-5_11-15-16.png
The appraiserres.dll is definitely replaced and the original one is .bak but still this error not sure why? Can anyone else check?

PS: install.wim is converted to install.esd not sure if that can be an issue but I don't see why it would be.

EDIT: A little update, seems like the local DLL is only used as a fallback mechanism when the system is offline. If you run the setup when the system is connected to the internet then you will get the incompatibility error despite the "fixed ISO".
Also it does not matter if you selected "not to download updates right now" in the setup, you'll get the error if you're connected.

Even I dont want my hdd to be wiped.
In the welcome to the diskpart/apply script page should I select "No" ?

What do you mean buddy ?. I should select "Yes" to use Script or "No" to use windows setup ?

I just want to setup Windows 11 in a partition after formatting the same. Kindly guide me on what to do after running the script on the ISO. I have already prepared the ISO with the script. Now its kind of confusing after that.

Guys whats going on with this TPM/SecureBoot on the RTM build?
If i try it in VirtualBox with a fresh installation then no problem but if i try to upgrade then i get this TPM/SecureBoot notification.
Is this TPM/SecureBoot requirements only checked now if you do an upgrade but not when doing a new installation?

Place Win 11 ISO into \Source_ISO\W11 then run the batch as admin. Press 2, it'll apply fixes then recreate the ISO and so you'll end up with a new ISO.

don't press Shift+F10 at all, when the installation starts, select the language, then continue like windows 10, then press the install button and continue, as you would with windows 10...just disconnect the internet during installation

here is what I did. Downloaded the Windows ISO from Microsoft and mounted it. Copied everything to a folder that I named Win 11.
Then copied the bypass file to this folder and ran it. Then removed my network cable and ran setup leaving the cable not plugged in.
It did install but I did get a warning that my pc did not meet the requirements and I would not get any updates and I accepted that.
So it did install but wonder about update issues. I did clone my drive before doing this so I could start over again if needed
    Did I do this right?
