Anyone figured out yet what happens if you turn off TPM in BIOS after you got a normal, supported Win11 install? Would that PC even boot? Receive updates?

  2. i think nobody knows till second tuesday of this month ;)

Can you try and install a previous build (<22000.194) which should get the latest LCU? I am not able to test till tomorrow evening.

I turned off Secure Boot, now on Legacy Boot in the Bios. Want to see if this makes a difference on a clean install with the fix. So far no difference, BUT Tuesday will tell.

Just to report success 2for2. Flawless inplace upgrade from latest Win10Pro on 2 systems using Option 2. Including an odd-ball one - 2012 IvyBridge/i5 Mac-Mini (Win-only).
Everything works as expected before/after upgrade.
EDIT: All Oct 12 updates applied as usual no issue at all.

Thank you for all of your hard work but I chose to upgrade my Mid-Tower Desktop with new MSI AMD Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5 CPU & DDR4 Memory so I could stay in the Insider Program.

Can someone help me get 11 on my wife's 10 Pro computer? It has I7-7700 CPU and doesn't make the cut for 11. I have 10 up and running and activated. I have replaced the appraiserres.dll into the sources folder of the 11.iso with the one from the tool named Win_11_Boot_And_Upgrade_FiX_KiT_v2.0 and I still get the not compatible message. I also tried running setup from the sources folder and get the same thing?? I read if I get the Win 11 194 build from UUP dump it will install no problems? Is this correct? I read directions for that Kit 2.0 but have no idea what they mean by Win 11 IP ISO. Whats easy folks? Finally..I am trying this from within windows...not a clean install.

Try this. It has worked for People.
Before starting Win 11 Setup unplug from the Internet, Start Install, then if install is successful reconnect to Internet

Ok here is what worked.....I turned internet off first. Then installed from within windows with the appraiserres.dll I pulled out of the Win_11_Boot_And_Upgrade_FiX_KiT_v2.0 into my Win 11 Pro Sources folder. It worked. Now final question. I do a lot of clean installs. Would it work the same way if I keep internet off during install and have the same altered appraiserres.dll replaced in original Win 11 Pro .ISO? Thanks

No because the .dll file is used for upgrading OS not clean installs
