Not really fix related, but try to perform an inplace/repair upgrade with a win 10 ISO and when that successfully ran then retry the upgrade to 23H2.
I think the H:/setup.exe /product server is working this time around. 26016 build Merry Xmas I've used this tool a few times and it always works perfect until now. I've used option one and three. I've tried two different source iso but still stops telling me my hardware does not meet requirements. I read up a few lines about turning off the internet while installing.. That didn't work either. I'm on version four of this tool.. Any idea?
Windows 11 was a free OS New windows 12 will bee a free and advertising system. MS with no updates is doing some discarding so you can get your win12 advertising version very soon
The failure to upgrade was due to not all of the required updates under Windows 10 22H2 not being installed. Once the Windows Update banner notifies the user that the machine does not meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11. appears. after those updates have been installed, through Windows Update, "and not before". the tool works as expected,
Can i perform a clean W11 install on a legacy/MBR only system while using recommended option 1 ? I see the only one with "MBR support" is on option 2 ?
The entire tool is a bypass for ALL requirements it just offers different options, 1 will do it (but it shows server during setup and some specific hardware doesn't run it), 2 will do it (but was not working in all scenarios) and 3 will do it (it fixes winsetup.dll to bypass the requirements) and even 4 will do it when done correctly.
I need an answer. computer does not support 22631 no tpm. image is still 22621. can i run the upgradefix in the live system ? and after reboot, run the enablement package for the 22631 without having to do an inplace upgrade ?
The enablement package will not scan for any HW requirements. 22621 → 22631 should work out of the box.
Thanks for the info, you never stop learning @Carlos Detweiller deppl translated, I hope I have expressed myself correctly
Rule of thumb: If Windows Setup is required to do the upgrade, then HW requirements need to be dealt with. 22631 is not a real upgrade, just a version number registry change and a few updates product policies for enabling the new features (which already there but dormant).
Do you plan to remove these lines? let's say, extract file. remove these lines, and update the file. again. or this? Edit. after a few tests, not work for me, but was worth a shut
