I know its a long shot, and iv'e scoured the internet everywhere and come up empty handed so far. Recently got a HP Pavillion G7-1329wm laptop in on a trade. Turns out the recovery drive had been wiped leaving no way to restore to factory settings. SO, i installed new win 7 ultimate 64 bit, and after getting the LAN drivers, WIFI drivers, and AMD CCC installed, eveything seemed to be going fine. But after downloading more drivers from HP website for the specified laptop, everything started crashing. Browsers, flash games, cant even get windows index to complete. SO restored to where it worked last, which was just the LAN and WIFI drivers and AMD CCC. runs fine except in gaming, the screen goes black but the laptop still runs..needless to say im at a loss and just plain tired of downloading, installing and rebooting. SO, i know its a longshot but i thought id give it a try and see if someone feels sorry for me. Would LOVE if someone has a set of recovery disks they could share for that model or even just the g7 series perhaps. Would be eternally grateful of someone could, if not, meh..i gave it a try.
Are their any yellow question marks in the Device list (In "system")? And did you download the chipset INF? That's the most important update of all. :MJ
