    Hi

I need help...I cannot get any Windows Updates with my Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate. I have a C000022 error message, which i googled and found a website that said to do a CHKDSK C/R & a SFC /SCANNOW but to no avail, same problem.

Also my Windows Activation & Product ID status is "Not Available"!!!!

I cannot use Daz's Loader as it says the Status is "Unlicensed". When I press the install is say's "The certificate wasn't successfully installed".

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

You may have some besides Daz loader in there? how was your win activated before?
may have to do MBR repair. But again , some more info will be helpful:D

Apologies if im not very good at this, i'll do what i can to provide more information.

    - Not a new install, installed win 7 ultimate (64x) when it came out, use Daz's loader back then (worked fine) and thats all i know. I did update the loader to 2.1.5 and installed ok.
    - Intel E8400, 5Gb ram, 500Gb hdd, Asus Pk5-pro motherboard, on board sound - no overclocking, stock standard pc.
    - Did screw around with the office 2010 activation last night, Office 2010 Toolkit and EZ-Activator 2.2.3. Thats when I realised pc was behaving, symptoms listed above.
    - i did a system restore to remove office 2010 and the office activator.
    - i just downloaded the MBR Regenerator.zip file, just clicked on to proceed, didn't uncheck any ticked boxes. Same old problem as listed above.

By "system restore" do you mean you restored a system image or you used system protection to revert to a restore point?

A System Restore point to revert prior to installing office 2010.

Well, I've never had good success with that but that's just me. Do you have a system image you can restore?

No, unfortunately I don't. I don't know how to create a system image. My skill set with pc's is limited.

I'm off to bed. I will check tomorrow morning for more solutions & answers on this forum. Thank you ppl.

I'm going to back out of this with this comment and let others more versed in this matter help you, but if you open the control panel and click on "Backup and Restore" at the top left you'll see "Create a system image". A system image will completely restore your entire system to an earlier point in time. If you created the image after you reached the stable system you wanted, that's what you'd get back to. Just be sure you have current backups of all your important data first.

@ PhaseDoubt .. Thank You for your assistance.

    @acrsn :
    1) There was no Bad sectors or system file errors found. Last night I performed a "CHKDSK C:/R" & a "SFC /SCANNOW" - no errors.
    2) System is clean, though I will run Trojan Remover, MSE & Spybot Remover tonight to be 100%.
    3) The MBR Regenerator didn't do anything, It prompted for a restart. My system was not in trial mode at the time, still says "no status". I will run again tonight.
    4) I will then try WAT Fix also. Never tried this. My DISC image is Original Win 7 Ultimate Disc.
"IF" all else fails i'll post the results at above link you've supplied for the MBR Regenerator.

One more question: If i do a Repair install with the windows 7 without sp1 disk, do I lose all my "current" data (such as mp3's) on my computer? Does installing windows again will be able to fix everything?...Will reply back when I get home from work. Thank You for assisting me :) !!!
