Hey everyone, I downloaded this torrert off of PB: thepiratebay.org/torrent/14360988/Windows_7_Ultimate_Sp1_x64_En-Us_ESD_April2016_Pre-Activated_-TE The comments have users complain about after some time windows would pop up with activation issues. I thought maybe this would of been solved when Installing it but I'm getting the same issue "windows not genuine" I've tried the Windows Loader v2.2.2 but under status I get "Unsupported partition table" Does anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong and what would help with that flavor of windows I download from PB? Thank you for any insight or help
Pretty sure Daz loader supports MBR only, not UEFI. What computer are you using? Kind of hard to assist while blindfolded.
Should never use a pre-activated iso, as it could have anything contained in the iso, such as viruses and other nasties. Better to download a untouched iso. Daz's loader only works with MBR partitions, not GPT.
Wow, thank you all for your input! Much appreciated!! And Thank you again tonto11 for the breakdown I do have one more question Tonto11, when I go to the first link the iso is: en_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677332.iso Can I make a bookable version via thumb drive Vs. DVD?
@urie - Cool, thank you! @Tonto11 - What do you mean by "Then load it to an MBR partition" what is the MBR partition and I load the "latest simplex update" to it?
@Leslie_Coffelt Main Guts are... Mobo: Asus Rampage 5 Edition 10 CPU: Intel i7 6900k Ram: 128 GB of Corsair platinum DDR4 3200 Vid: Nvidia Titan XP SSD: Samsung pro 950 M2
LOL, 1000W (yes a little overkill but I do plan on add more parts over the years as tech gets cheaper). Dual 100" over 9000k monitors
@Tonto11 - What do you mean by "Then load it to an MBR partition" what is the MBR partition and I load the "latest simplex update" to it?[/QUOTE] Sorry to have confused you you can download the iso and install that to an mbr partition, then apply the simplex update or you can slipstream the simplex update onto the iso creating a new custom iso which you can then install to an mbr partition I didn't mean to suggest that you load the simplix update by itself to the mbr partition sorry about that, that's why they call me tonto I moved the sentence about loading up above the discussion of simplix btw that's a real cadillac system you've got I suspect that from the error das loader gave you, the hard drive has been formatted as gpt not mbr, and that's why it's complaining. you've got some reading to do. ...T
@internets9000 - I down loaded the PDF manual. Wow, what a piece of hardware - I got pretty close to developing an unnatural lust of an inanimate object At any rate, somewhere around page 3-26 shows how to configure the MB for CSM/legacy mode. Then when you boot from the Win7 USB (Rufus?) flash drive, the install process should see your SSD and you can proceed from there. This is only the beginning, but at least getting Win7 installed and booting is a big step. Good luck. Have fun. Keep asking questions and yes, please read threads others refer you to.
